Lisa Mitchell MFT, ATR, is the author Creativity as Co-Therapist: The Practitioner’s Guide to the Art of Psychotherapy. As an art therapist, she has specialized in helping teens and adults use art and creative expression to overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma for over 20 years. Her online and in-person workshops are popular for the in-depth, hands-on creative experiences she facilitates to help therapists to find unique ways of approaching the therapeutic process as a creative one. Gretchen Miller MA, ATR-BC, ACTP is the author of forthcoming book, The Art Therapist’s Guide to Social Media: Connection, Community, and Creativity (Routledge). She is a Cleveland based Registered Board Certified Art Therapist, Certified Trauma Practitioner, and an Adjunct Professor at Ursuline College’s Counseling and Art Therapy Program. Clinically she works with at-risk children, teens, and adults. She is also a mover and shaker when it comes to organizing art exchanges and creative collaborations that are worldwide. Her online art making community, 6 Degrees of Creativity, unites concepts of social networking, connecting, collaboration, and creativity into an engaged global community of artists spreading creative goodness.
